Theresa Grise Kyrouac, age 82, of Manteno, passed away Thursday, January 16, 2025, at Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee.
Visitation will be held 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Monday, January 20, 2025, at Clancy-Gernon Funeral Home in Bourbonnais. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bradley. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Manteno.
Theresa was born October 24, 1942 in Kankakee, the daughter of Donald S. & Winifreda Grey Raymond.
She married Roger Grise on July 10, 1965. He preceded her in death on June 22, 2010.
Theresa married Donald Kyrouac on February 4, 2012. He preceded her in death on May 7, 2012. She was a graduate of St. Patrick High School.
Theresa retired from Walgreens after 15 years of service. She also worked at a hairdresser for more than 32 years. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Her hobbies included crocheting, sewing, and knitting. Theresa was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bradley.
Surviving are two daughters, Stephanie & Michael Murray of Manteno and Christine & Joseph Cousin of Bourbonnais; three step-sons, Greg & Nancy Kyrouac, Tom Kyrouac, and Brian & Bonnie Kyrouac; three step-daughters, Donna & Kerry Kubick, Debbie & Kent Kerby, and Susie & Steve Harms; one sister, Carol Osterhoff of Kankakee; eight grandchildren, Caitlin & C.J. Irvin, Zachary Murray, Nicholas Murray, Benjamin Murray, Lucas Cousin, Reece Cousin, Anthony Cousin, and Richard & Jessica Clark; four great-grandchildren, Madison Murray, Carsyn Irvin, Memphis Clark, and McKenzie Cousin; twelve step-grandchildren; one nephew, Chad & Jennifer Osterhoff and their children, Chase and Jax Osterhoff; and special friends, Bruce & Wanda.
In addition to her husbands, Theresa is preceded in death by her parents; one brother-in-law, Brian Osterhoff; one niece, Jaymie Osterhoff; and one great-nephew, Cale Osterhoff.
