Men and women, boys and girls perform various duties during weekend Masses and special services. We welcome our parishioners to choose from the many available options to share their time and talents in the liturgical ministries of the parish.
Just as you would greet guests to your home, these ministers provide a welcoming environment as they greet parishioners and guests alike. Our Hospitality Ministers serve the gathered assembly in providing seating assistance and passing out worship aides, passing the baskets during collection, inviting a family or couple to carry the Offertory Gifts, passing out bulletins as people leave the church, clearing the pews after Mass, and overseeing the safety and needs of the assembly. Training is offered to individuals or families that wish to serve together in this ministry.
These men and woman proclaim the sacred Scripture texts at Masses and special services. Having good communication skills is a definite plus for becoming a lector. Training for those interested is offered.
These parishioners help distribute the Body and the Blood of Christ. Those who are willing to do this most privileged service during Mass are certainly invited to become part of this ministry. Training is offered.

Item LinkOur online scheduler helps make ministry flexible and smooth for our liturgical ministers. With this software, the ministers receive automated e-mail reminders and have access to a web terminal that shows when they are scheduled, allows them to easily request subs and lets the parish know when someone has requested not to be scheduled for a particular date or extended period. (The Liturgical Schedule is every two months).
