Vicki Gay Redmond, 77, of Bradley, passed away at Christ Advocate Hospital of Oaklawn on Saturday, January 4, 2025.

Visitation will be held at Jensen Funeral Home in Kankakee on Sunday, January 19, 2025, from 1pm to 4pm. Cremation rites have been accorded.

Vicki was born on January 1, 1948, the daughter of Laverne and Ula (nee Kinney) LaRoche. She married Robert (Bob) Redmond on August 5, 1967, at St. Joseph Church (Bradley). She was a factory worker for both Texize and ZipPak. She was a parishioner at St. Joseph Church in Bradley.

She enjoyed playing cards with friends and family, and gambling at casino boats. Most of all, she cherished the time she spent with her husband, Bob, children, grandchildren, and family.

Vicki is survived by her loving husband Robert (Bob) Redmond; son, Brent (Joanne) Redmond; daughter, Michelle (Eric) Cyr; 2 sisters, Sandy Allison, Tina ( Rod) Andrews; 2 brothers, Alan ( Jackie) LaRoche, Terry LaRoche; 3 grandchildren, Lix (Maggie) Cyr, Kade and Morgan Cyr, Brayden Mills ( Marissa); 3 step grandchildren, Jeffrey (Tressa) Bracken, Josie Bracken, Jace Bracken; 4 great grandchildren, Indigo, Rocco, Peyton, Greyson; 2 sisters-in-law, MaryAnn Redmond, Tina Redmond; 2 brothers-in-law, Terry Redmond, Jim Redmond; many nieces and nephews.

Vicki is preceded in death by her parents, Lavern and Ula LaRoche; 2 sisters, Opal DePatis, Carol Allen; brother, William (Bill) LaRoche; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robert and Blanche Redmond; 2 sisters-in-law, Sandy LaRoche, Deb LaRoche; 4 brothers-in-law, Donald (Pete) Redmond, Charles Redmond, Gene Redmond, Donnie Allison.
