Sandra Lee Beaupre, age 87, of Bourbonnais passed away Friday, November 8, 2024, at Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee. 


Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of the 11 a.m. memorial Mass on Friday, November 15, 2024, at Maternity B.V.M. Catholic Church in Bourbonnais. Inurnment will follow at Maternity B.V.M. Cemetery in Bourbonnais.


Sandra was born March 6, 1937, in Bradley, the daughter of Leslie Ferdinand & Pearle (Toboski) Johnson. Sandra married Jack R. Beaupre on June 29, 2011. He preceded her in death on September 24, 2019.


Sandra was a 1954 graduate of Bradley High School. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Athens State University. Sandra attended the University of Alabama in Huntsville for postgraduate studies.


She retired as a staff manager for Bell South. Sandra served on the Bourbonnais Library Board. She was a master gardener in Alabama and enjoyed gardening until the end.


She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bradley and Maternity B.V.M. Catholic Church in Bourbonnais.


Surviving are one sister, Debra (Robert) Rivard of Rio Rancho, NM; two stepdaughters, Nancy (Fred) Waldschmidt of Bourbonnais and Susan Lindholm of VA; one sister-in-law, Lana (Randy) Waselewski of Bourbonnais; four nieces and one nephew; one sister-in-law, Ursala Johnson of St. Mary’s, GA. In addition to her husband, Jack R. Beaupre, Sandra is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Richard Johnson and Lawrence (Vera) Johnson; and one nephew.


In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bradley.


Arrangements are being made by Clancy-Gernon Funeral Home in Bourbonnais.
