Rebecca L. “Becky” Weigand, age 55, of Bourbonnais passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at her home. 

Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at Clancy-Gernon Funeral Home in Bourbonnais. A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bradley. Interment will follow at Aroma Park Township in Aroma Park.

Becky was born July 4, 1968, in Kankakee, the daughter of Omar & Diane (Dixon) Beasley. She married Chris Weigand on March 4, 1995, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bradley.

Becky was a claims analyst for Cigna. She loved to travel, especially to Sanibel Island. She loved her dogs, Lexi & Lucy, and flowers. She was an avid Chicago White Sox and Evansville Aces fan. Becky loved to bake for everyone and loved being in nature. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and being with her husband, Chris. Becky was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bradley.

Surviving are her husband of 29 years, Chris Weigand of Bourbonnais; one son, Alex Weigand of Bourbonnais; one daughter, Emileigh Weigand of Bourbonnais; siblings, Joe (Cheri) Beasley of Bradley, Lisa Long of Kankakee, Shelly (Jeff) Lagacy of Bradley, and Julie (Randy) Clay of Crescent City; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Fred Weigand of Chicago Ridge, Mike (Pam) Weigand of Bradley, Kerry (Roy) Winn of North Aurora, and Paul (Kelley) Weigand of La Grange Park; mother-in-law, Jackie Weigand of Chicago Ridge; stepmother, Pat Boudreau of Bradley; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Becky is preceded in death by her parents; father-in-law, Fred Weigand; and one nephew, Angel Weigand.
