David A. Hourihan, age 62, of Bourbonnais, passed away Friday, May 3, 2019, at his home.
A memorial visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the 1:00 p.m. memorial service on Saturday, May 18, 2019, at Clancy-Gernon Funeral Home in Bourbonnais. Deacon Greg Clodi will officiate. Cremation rites have been accorded.
David was born December 5, 1956 in Kankakee, the son of Raymond & Joan Guimond Hourihan.
He married Pamela Jones on October 2, 1982 at First Church of the Nazarene in Kankakee. He retired from BASF in Kankakee as a lab technician. Prior to that, he had worked for JR Short Milling Company in Kankakee.
David was a diehard Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears fan. He was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bradley.
Surviving are his wife, Pamela Hourihan of Bourbonnais; two daughters, Emily Ann and Sarah Kay, both at home; one sister, Karen & Eric Bonds of Bradley; two brothers, Matt & Mary Hourihan of Bradley and Mark Hourihan; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Betty & Myron Jones of Bradley; and three brothers-in-law, Glenn Jones of Bradley, Tim & Donna Jones of Bradley, and Jeff & Lori Jones of Nevada.
He is preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Patrick Hourihan; two nephews, Steven Hourihan and Drew Jones; and one niece, Jessica Jones.
Memorials may be made to the family’s wishes.
