Rose L. Stefanich, 90 of Bradley passed away August 9, 2018 at her home.

The visitation will be 8:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., Thursday, August 16, 2018, at Schreffler Funeral Home, Bourbonnais Chapel. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, August 16, 2018, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Bradley, IL and Father Tony Nugent will officiate. Burial will follow at All Saints Cemetery, Bourbonnais, IL

Rose was born May 18, 1928 in Chicago to Joseph A. and Elizabeth (Citera) Scaglione. Rose married Joseph A. Stefanich and he died November 30, 2009. She has been a resident of Kankakee County since 1951. Rose was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and a past Lady League member. She was a volunteer for church funerals, festivals, the V.F.W and the Daughters of Isabella. Rose enjoyed crocheting, cooking, baking and gardening. 

She is survived by her 2 sons and a daughter-in-law; Mathew (Lyla) Stefanich of Bourbonnais and Mark Stefanich of Bradley. Also surviving are 2 grandchildren; Jason and Jacob, nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Rose was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a daughter-in-law, Claudia, 2 sisters; Grace Miorca and Virginia LaRocca and 3 brothers, Charles Ross, Paul Ross and Joe Scaglione. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association and the American Diabetes Association.
