Brian K. Ebersole, age 67 of Bradley passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at Riverside Medical Center, Kankakee.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the 2:00 p.m. funeral service on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at Clancy-Gernon Funeral Home, Bourbonnais. Deacon Patrick Skelly will officiate the service.Cremation rites will be accorded following the service.
Brian was born August 13, 1956, in Sterling, IL, the son of Eugene and Audrey (Leonard) Ebersole. He married Julie Ponikvar on January 4, 1992, in Kankakee.
Brian retired from the maintenance department of the Village of Bradley. He was a past member of the Loyal Order of the Moose. He was a former bowling league member. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family who were especially important to him. Brian was a proud grandpa.
Surviving is his wife, Julie of Bradley; his parents of Panama City, FL; two sons and two daughters, Brian Jr. (Alecia) Ebersole, of Hammondville NSW, Australia, Mandy (Scott) Vent of Momence, Elizabeth (Aaron Brisson) Ebersole of Westmont, IL, Jacob (Katie) Ebersole of Bourbonnais; nine siblings, Craig (Nancy) Ebersole, April (Curt) Smith, Robin (Walter) Varvel, Rod (Sandy) Ebersole, Wendy (Jeff) Cheesman, Pam Longtin, Micah (Tina) Ebersole, Marc Ebersole, David (April) Ebersole; seven grandchildren, Devin Vent, Lucas Vent, Alexandra Ebersole, Breanna Vent, Madilynn Vent, Eleanor Ebersole, Emma Vent; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, brother-in-law, and sisters-in-law.
Brian is preceded in death by his father-in-law, William Ponikar; brother-in-law, Don Longtin; and sister-in-law, Tamara Ebersole.
Memorials may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project or to the donor’s choice.
