Bernard J. “Buck” LaMontagne, age 87, of Bradley passed away Wednesday, June 13, 2018, at Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee.
Cremation Rites have been accorded. A memorial visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. memorial Mass on Saturday, June 30, 2018, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bradley.
Buck was born August 3, 1930, in Kankakee, the son of Bernard L. & Anna E. Pechauer LaMontagne.
He was a groundskeeper at Kankakee Valley Park District and later at Lewis University until his retirement. Buck was a member of the 1950’s National Championship Color Guard. He was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bradley.
Surviving are one son, Kevin LaMontagne of Bradley; one daughter, Karen Harris of Bradley; four grandchildren, Nick Smith of Kankakee, Jesse (Kristy) Smith of Bourbonnais, Garrett Harris of Manhattan, and Allie Harris of Bradley; five great-grandchildren, Luke, Molly, Bentley, Nicholas, and Cashton.
Buck is preceded in death by his parents.
Memorials may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bradley.
