Out of concern for the safety and well-being of children, every Joliet diocesan, parish, school or religious education employee or volunteer who is involved with minors on a regular, recurring basis and those who may have an opportunity to be alone with children during parish, school or religious education sponsored events, are required to attend a Virtus Protecting God’s Children program.

St. Joseph Parish offers PGC workshops regularly throughout the year. Check the Sunday bulletin or contact the Parish Office, 815-939-3575, to find out when the next workshop will be offered at St. Joseph's. Prospective volunteers can also participate in the program at other parishes in the Joliet Diocese. The List of PGC Workshops to the right has all workshops scheduled in the diocese with online registration.
