Finances

Funds collected during weekend liturgies are used to operate and maintain parish facilities where children and adults praise God and learn about the faith. Sunday offerings provide for materials, supplies and building utilities and compensate parish employees. The Parish Finance Commission meets regularly with the pastor to discuss all aspects of the administration of parish finances.

Weekly Collection

The weekly collection is the ordinary means by which money is contributed to the parish. Everyone is urged to use the collection envelopes received in the mail. Please give generously and according to your means. Click here to view the weekly collection numbers.

Auto-Deduct Program

Giving is extremely important even when a parishioner cannot make it to Mass on the weekend. St. Joseph Parish offers an Electronic Giving option. Click here to download the Auto-Deduct form or call the parish Business Office, 815-939-3573.

Special Collections

Special Collections happen throughout the year. The Diocese of Joliet designates most of these collections and the money is used for many charitable purposes.
